Crochet By Numbers is a squishy blanket that will keep you cosy even in the depths of winter.

The pattern is graded for a cot and a lap blanket.

Puff stitches are used with subtle shade changes to create a crocheted flower within each hexagon. Although puff stitches use a lot of yarn, it’s worth it for the resulting texture and warmth they bring to the finished blanket design.

Hexagons are worked over four rounds and half hexagons are worked over four rows. The blanket is joined using slip stitches, before a simple slip stitch edge is added.
